WMF has wide ranging experience in this field going back to 1999 when our innovative programme began delivering HIV/AIDS education in 108 schools, reaching over 70,000 African children every year.
In five years we saw the HIV positive rate in secondary school children drop from 11% to 1% which we believe was a direct result of our intervention.
Whilst there is no longer the total vacuum of knowledge that existed in the past, there is still a vital and continued need to keep stressing the advantages of abstinence, the dangers of promiscuity, unprotected sex and the right of a woman to say no.
Now a facet of our Children's Mobile Clinic programme it cost just £3,000 a year to deliver this vital education.
