DISCOVER OUR IMPACT & WHAT WE DO
We are the world's children's hospital on wheels
Children living in remote areas are denied the essential healthcare they need to stay alive and live healthy lives. We bring hope and sustainable healthcare to those villages by giving their next generation the treatments they need to survive and educating local leaders how to become Community Health Workers themselves so that they can eventually care for their children's health themselves.
Each year we treat 25,000 children. Thousands of children are alive today as a direct result of the treatment we provided. Each year 40 final-year medical students come from the U.K., Republic of Ireland, Australia and New Zealand to practice medicine with us in Malawi on their elective placement.
WHAT WE DO
We provide practical life-saving solutions to children living in remote areas. We provide healthcare to children where none exists. Our work spans medical treatment, public health and health advocacy.
